Harrison and Clough is the leading wholesaler for the engineers’ most specified brand of locking nuts, Philidas®. Philidas Limited is a leading manufacturer of female fasteners, plugs and similar products, specialising in locking nuts.


Known for their ranges of Industrial locking nuts and Turret nuts Philidas® size range goes from M4 to M48, in property classes 8, 10 and 12, with Imperial equivalents. Manufacturing is by cold forging (up to M20) and bar turning for larger sizes or low volumes. Steel, stainless steel, brass and aluminium parts are produced.
